5th Grade

Thank you for visiting the fifth grade information page! The fifth grade is an exciting year for the students at St. Pius Catholic School. As our students prepare for their transition into middle school, we stress being organized and responsible.

Also, fifth grade students participate in student council, national geography bee, and the Knights of Columbus spelling bee. The students also attend camp every year where they get the chance to learn outside of the classroom.

In addition, students enjoy weekly art, library, computer, music, Spanish and gym classes. Our school also offers many after school clubs such as drama, chess, choir, and running club.

Aside from the normal academic curriculum we take part in daily religious activities such as morning and afternoon prayer and religion class. We also attend weekly mass and celebrate important liturgical events throughout the year. Students are given the opportunity to plan a mass for the school to celebrate.

If you would like to learn more about the fifth grade and some of the exciting things that we do, please visit the fifth grade blogs.
