Gabriel Richard High School


The Gabriel Richard (GR) community is made up of 350 students and 42 faculty and staff members.  Founded in 1965, today GR graduates number more than 5,000 serving in a variety of business, civic, educational, medical, and religious professions. Over 90% of these fine men and women have furthered their education at a college or university.

The student body is drawn primarily from Southern Wayne County. GR class size average is 18 students, offers 10 Advanced Placement (AP) courses and has 22 sports teams. GR has the HIGHEST ACT scores in the area as well as a top Fine Arts Department.

Students in grades 6-8 can join the Pioneer Club to receive a free newsletter and family pass to any event.
